Escape from Nubarashen Mental Health Center: One of the Patients Committed a Serious Crime
On July 21, an extraordinary incident occurred at the National Mental Health Preservation Center, more commonly known as 'Nubarashen,' under the Ministry of Justice of Armenia. According to reports from shamshyan.am, at around 01:20 AM, operational information was received by the Nubarashen division of the community police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding two individuals who had attempted to escape from the center’s second department.
It was found that a mandatory patient, 45-year-old Vyacheslav Lukin from Yerevan, and 35-year-old Aramayis Mirzoyan from the Armavir region, who had been transferred to the center as a precautionary measure by a decision of the first instance court of Armavir, managed to flee by breaking the window bars of room 5 in the specified department.
Documentation regarding the incident has been prepared at the Nubarashen division of the police. The police are taking necessary operational investigative measures to locate the individuals.
