Aliyev on Trump: He is the Only U.S. President Who Has Not Started Wars

Donald Trump has published a speech by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. According to APA, the U.S. leader shared the post on his official page on the Truth Social network. The publication includes a video reflecting President Ilham Aliyev's statements about Donald Trump.

During the forum, the Azerbaijani president stated, “I did not predict Trump’s victory. I simply said that considering his dedication to the same fundamental values as ours, including family values, his victory would have been more preferable for the people of Azerbaijan. He is the only U.S. president who has not started wars. And it is also clear that during his short time in office, he sought to end existing conflicts.”

“We are also deeply grateful to him for his efforts to facilitate a final agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Although he was engaged with more global issues of international security, he still kept attention on the situation in the South Caucasus. Of course, his victory makes us in Azerbaijan happy for several reasons. Naturally, we want him to complete his work and fully drain the 'swamp' of Washington.”
