Romanos Petrosyan Does Not Guarantee Future Electricity Tariff

The interim manager of the "Electric Networks of Armenia" company, Romanos Petrosyan, has stated that he cannot guarantee the direction in which the electricity tariff will move. At the same time, he assured that the tariff would be based solely on objective, real indicators, which will be visible in the activities of the company, and will respect the interests of the operator, as well as acceptable levels of profitability agreed upon with the regulatory committee.

“However, all processes related to the tariff will comply with the letter of the law. I preclude any manipulation, indirect calculations, distortion of reality, or corrupt decisions within the scope of my authority, and I am accountable for this to the citizens of the Republic of Armenia,” Petrosyan stated.
