Rain Will Resume, Hail Possible: Weather Update for Armenia

In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in certain regions after noon on July 18-19, and during the night of July 20-22, as well as after noon on July 22. On July 19-20, heavy rainfall is anticipated in some areas, with a possibility of hail.

This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of RA. During thunderstorms, wind gusts are expected to reach 17-20 m/s.

From July 18-22 in the evening hours, wind gusts of 15-18 m/s are expected in Armavir, Kotayk, and the foothills of Aragatsotn.

The air temperature will not change significantly. In Yerevan, from July 18-22, brief rain and thunderstorms are possible in certain areas during the evening, with wind gusts of 15-18 m/s during thunderstorms. On the afternoon of July 18, the temperature in the capital will be 35-37 degrees Celsius, while in the evening it will register +30...+32 degrees.
