We Will Liberate the Cathedral as We Liberated Armenia from Serzh Sargsyan: Pashinyan

I cannot launch a campaign against the church, and therefore no one can defend what does not exist and cannot exist. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a press conference in response to a journalist's question, emphasizing that what we are doing is for the sake of the church.

He stressed that the Armenian Apostolic Church is sacred to him and his family, otherwise he would be indifferent to the 'destructive process' that is taking place. 'I am convinced that many people in Armenia share this agenda of urgency and inevitability regarding the restoration of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the Mother See, including the entire army of followers of the Armenian Apostolic Church,' said Pashinyan, adding that if anyone is a faithful follower of the Armenian Apostolic Church, they cannot be indifferent to the decline of the church.

'We will liberate the cathedral as we liberated Armenia from Serzh Sargsyan,' announced Pashinyan.
