European Union Pays for Food of Dying Person: Zakharova on Weapons Supply to Kiev

The European Union's funding for new American weapons supplies to Kiev is akin to paying for the food of a dying person, stated Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, as reported by TASS.

The diplomat cited the words of European diplomacy chief, Kaja Kallas, who expressed skepticism about whether the U.S. would indeed supply weapons to Ukraine if European countries foot the bill for it.

“Is Kaja really starting to have doubts about something? Let's help her out: it’s like someone telling you to pay for food, but someone else is eating it and dying,” the diplomat remarked.
