US President's Statements Are Very Serious: Peskov
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has responded to US President Donald Trump’s statements regarding Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“The statements of the US President are very serious, some of them are directed personally at Putin. We definitely need time to analyze what was said in Washington,” he told reporters.
According to Peskov, Putin will comment on Trump's words about Russia and himself if he deems it necessary.
It is worth noting that Trump has stated that if a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine is not reached within 50 days, the US will impose 100% tariffs on goods imported from Russia, and secondary sanctions on countries that purchase Russian oil.
