Major Accident in Masis: One Fatality

On July 15 at 04:59, the Crisis Management Center of the Ararat Regional Rescue Department received information about a road traffic accident on Yerevanyan Street in Masis, noting that there are casualties.

Two firefighting units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Yerevan and the regional rescue department were dispatched to the scene, along with a rescue team from the special operations center.

It was determined that vehicles branded 'VAZ' and 'Ford' had collided. The passenger of the 'VAZ' vehicle died on the spot. The driver and the passenger of the 'Ford' vehicle were hospitalized at a medical center.

Rescuers extricated the driver of the 'VAZ' vehicle from the wreck, shut off the gas cylinder valve, and de-energized the vehicles.
