Zelensky Proposes Changing Ukraine's Prime Minister
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has proposed that the country's First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko lead the government. He announced this on his Telegram channel.
The President met with Svyrydenko to discuss the implementation of agreements signed with European and American partners to support Ukraine. Additionally, they discussed measures that could strengthen Ukraine's economic potential, expand support programs for Ukrainians, and increase weapons production in the country.
“I have proposed that Yulia Svyrydenko lead the government of Ukraine and significantly refresh its operations. I expect that the new government's action plan will be presented in the near future,” he wrote.
Currently, the position of Ukraine's Prime Minister is held by Denys Shmyhal, who has been leading the government since March 2020.
