“The United States has been robbed in trade and defense for decades by both allies and enemies. This has cost us trillions of dollars, and this situation can no longer continue and should never have been,” Trump remarked.

According to him, other countries should be grateful for the years of free support provided by the United States, and they must now understand that Washington will act in its own interests.
