Russia Awaits Next Round of Negotiations with Ukraine, Peskov Says
“Russia is still expecting a proposal regarding the timeframe for the next round of negotiations with Ukraine; however, Kyiv is not in a hurry,” stated Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President.
“We are still awaiting a proposal on the dates for the third round of negotiations,” Peskov added.
He also commented on U.S. President Donald Trump's intention to send 'Patriot' systems to Ukraine, emphasizing that American weapons and military technology continue to be supplied to Ukraine. “The fact remains that the supply of weapons, equipment, and military technology from the U.S. continues,” Peskov said.
It is important to note that Russia and Ukraine have held two rounds of direct negotiations in Istanbul, resulting in a prisoner exchange.
