Mass Arrests in Azerbaijan

As part of measures aimed at combating irregular migration, the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan has taken 9,714 decisions regarding the stay, residence, and employment of foreign citizens and stateless persons, as well as other administrative offenses. This was reported by the Azerbaijani State Migration Service, according to Apa.az.

Of the foreign citizens subject to administrative measures, 4,246 have reportedly been detained in the context of actions against irregular migration. The State Migration Service of Azerbaijan has stated that these operations are still ongoing.
