Germany Will Not Supply New Missiles to Ukraine, Defense Minister Says
Germany will not supply Taurus long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine, despite Kyiv's request. This was stated by the German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius in an interview with the Financial Times.
“Germany will not supply Taurus long-range missiles to Ukraine, despite the recent series of airstrikes conducted by Russia,” the article states.
At the same time, Pistorius admitted that he would discuss the proposal to purchase two Patriot systems for Ukraine from the United States during a meeting scheduled today in Washington with Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth.
“This is, in fact, a very limited number, especially given the NATO readiness goals we need to achieve. We cannot deliver more systems,” said the German defense minister.
