Tinted Windows Banned to Reduce Fuel Emissions in the Air: Marukyan

The leader of the Lumiere Armenia party, Edmon Marukyan, made a statement saying: “Tinted windows were banned so that we wouldn’t run the air conditioner more in our cars under +40-degree sun, thereby consuming more fuel, which results in more fuel emissions in the air. However, under direct sunlight, you still end up burning like in an aquarium…”

He noted that he has observed that even the most democratic country, the USA, does not ban tinted windows, nor are they banned in the strictest China.

“In Armenia, however, due to Arsen Torosyan's vehement demands, such norms are applied purely to harm people, cause inconvenience, and impose unnecessary expenses on them, which ultimately harms both people and nature,” Marukyan wrote.
