A Rally for Artsakh Residents Begins at Yerevan's Freedom Square

A rally convened by the Council for the Protection of Rights of Artsakh Residents has commenced at Yerevan's Freedom Square. Participants have unfurled a nearly 50-meter-long flag of Artsakh.

At the start of the rally, attendees honored the memory of all fallen Armenian soldiers in the wars of Artsakh with a minute of silence, followed by the performances of the national anthems of Armenia and Artsakh.

This was followed by a prayer service. The rally aims to raise awareness about the social issues faced by Artsakh residents, particularly regarding housing security programs, the return of Armenian prisoners held in Baku, and the preservation of cultural heritage in Artsakh.

It is noteworthy that according to the data from the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs' migration and citizenship service, 115,365 individuals have been forcibly displaced from Artsakh since September 2023.
