150 Illegal Migrants Detected in Moscow Region

During a raid in Balashikha, Moscow region, law enforcement checked more than 500 migrants, discovering violations in approximately 150 cases. This information was reported by the press service of the Rosgvardiya.

According to the statement, the operation, which involved the special forces 'Avangard' of the Main Directorate of Rosgvardiya in Moscow, included personnel from the Russian Investigative Committee's military investigative department, the military commissariat, the territorial security department, as well as staff from federal security services of Moscow and the Moscow region.

According to Rosgvardiya’s data, the illegal migrants were transferred to the police for additional inspections. Notifications were also served to 35 citizens who were not registered with military authorities.

Earlier, Azerbaijani media reported that special forces carried out an operation at one of the Moscow markets, resulting in mass arrests of migrants from Azerbaijan.
