Vatican Ready to Host Russia-Ukraine Negotiations, Says Pope

During his two-year tenure, Pope Leo XIV met with Ukraine's leader for the second time to discuss the urgent necessity of a "just and lasting peace." He told Zelenskyy that the Vatican is ready to host peace talks between Russia and Ukraine.

President Zelenskyy is in Italy to participate in an upcoming conference dedicated to the recovery and long-term reconstruction of Ukraine following over three years of war with Russia.
