No Options for Resolving the Ukraine Conflict, Merz

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has stated in the Bundestag that all possibilities for resolving the conflict in Ukraine through diplomatic means have been exhausted, European media reports.
"Diplomatic methods have run their course," he said.
The Chancellor pledged to continue supporting Kyiv. Speaking about defense, Merz noted that "Germany must quickly obtain everything necessary to protect its own country."
Additionally, Germany's Foreign Minister Johan Wadephul announced during a visit to Kyiv that Berlin intends to assist Ukraine in accelerating arms production.
