Israel and US Aggression Has Become a Threat to Middle Eastern Security: Araqchi
Israel's and the United States' aggression towards Iran has become an unprecedented threat to the security of the entire Middle East. This was stated by Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, as reported by TASS.
According to a statement from the Islamic Republic's Foreign Ministry, Araqchi emphasized that "the military aggression of the Zionist and American regimes, which clearly violates the UN Charter and international law, as well as the non-proliferation regime of nuclear weapons, has turned into an unprecedented threat to the security and stability of the entire Western Asia."
Recall that Israel launched military operations against Iran on the night of June 13. The following day, the republic carried out a retaliatory strike. The United States became involved in the conflict nine days after the escalation, striking Iranian nuclear facilities in Esfahan, Natanz, and Fordow.
In response, Iran attacked the largest American airbase in the Middle East, Al Udeid in Qatar. After that, US President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Iran had agreed on a ceasefire.
