The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, commented on the scandal surrounding the purchase of vaccines during the coronavirus pandemic in the EU, which is tied to the name of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. “I do not rule out that she will manage to remain in that position, but nonetheless there is an unpleasant taste in her mouth. Those who didn’t understand will later understand; the call has already been made for the raging Russophobes,” said the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council.

It is noteworthy that Ursula von der Leyen will personally participate in the discussions at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, where a vote of no confidence against her will be considered due to serious violations in the procurement of vaccines during the pandemic.
