Letter from Archbishop Bagrat to the People
The leader of the Holy Struggle, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, has written a letter from the "Yerevan-Center" penitentiary located in the NSS building. "Indeed, the world has turned upside down," would say the late Aramashot Papayan. It is only in this upside-down world that the infamous "Fish Thief," along with various non-biographical animal-origin commentators, can speak about me and my supporters, Bishop Mikael, the Church, Samvel Karapetyan, and other esteemed Armenians, as well as analyze geopolitical developments through the lens of Istanbul logic.
Current reports indicate that a meeting between Aliyev and Pashinyan will take place in Dubai at the end of July, which reaffirms our information that this agreement was meant to be established in Istanbul for signing the so-called "Black Paper" labeled as a "Peace Agreement or Treaty," the contents of which remain hidden from the Armenian people until today. I had communicated about this even before June 18, detailing both the location and the potential signing at the end of July or the beginning of August.
Do you now understand why we are in detention facilities? The real and actual reason is to eliminate the potential centers of resistance. Yes, it has not been a secret for anyone that many, including myself, have clearly stated that a peaceful civil disobedience struggle is a necessity and required to remove evil from our country.
I have always emphasized that the Church is the final bastion in this catastrophe, which can ultimately unite the public and prevent the final surrender of our state. The picture is clearer than ever, yet the actions remain uncertain.
I warned that this final disastrous action would take place during people's vacations so that it would be less noticeable "under the cover of darkness," as happened on the night of November 9, 2020, October 6, 2022, the surrender of Artsakh from September 19-24, 2023, the night of April 19, 2024, the situation with Lake Sevan, and the handover of the Goris-Kapan road, among others.
And do you remember what happened under the cover of darkness? Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss of peace. Now our lives are being betrayed with the same "kiss of peace."
Dear ones, the time for analyses, expert commentary, and political or other differences has long passed. Set aside everything and unite for the sake of Armenia, for the sake of honor and dignity, for our martyrs, for our sufferings, and for our dreams and aspirations, which are greater than the limited days of our temporary lives. Victory has no alternative, " Galstanyan wrote.
It is noteworthy that Archbishop Bagrat has been charged by the Investigative Committee with "committing terrorism and seizing power," and he, along with numerous participants of the Holy Struggle, political figures, and clergy have been arrested. Proposals for pre-trial detention have been submitted to courts, and the cited measure has already been applied to many.
