Elon Musk Announces Formation of His Own Political Party

Businessman Elon Musk has announced the establishment of his own political party. He initiated a poll on his X social network to determine whether a political party should be created. 65.4% of voters supported the idea.

After the voting concluded, Musk declared that a new political party named "America" has been formed in the United States. "When a country is being looted and destroyed due to waste and corruption, that is not democracy, but a one-party system. Today, the 'America' party has been created to restore your freedom," wrote the world’s richest man.

The businessman has already laid out the party's strategy. He plans to secure 2-3 Senate seats and 8-10 seats in the House of Representatives. "Even the smallest advantage in the legislative body will be sufficient for decisive votes on controversial laws that will truly reflect the will of the people," Musk stated on his X social network.

It's worth noting that disagreements between President Trump and Elon Musk began in May, following Musk's public criticism of tax and budgetary policies. Musk was also opposed to the passage of a new law that includes substantial spending and tax cuts, which is expected to increase the US budget deficit by more than $3 trillion over the next decade.
