Trump on Phone Conversation with Putin

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that there was no progress on the Ukraine issue during his phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Speaking to reporters at Washington's Andrews Air Force Base, Trump noted that he discussed the ongoing war in Ukraine as well as the situation related to Iran.

“No, I have not achieved any progress with him,” Trump said when asked if the parties had come closer to signing a peace agreement. He added that he is “dissatisfied” with the ongoing war situation.

It is noteworthy that Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump discussed the situation concerning Iran and the Middle East during their phone call.
