Nikol Pashinyan Makes New Statement

Recently, in relation to one of my statements, questions were raised regarding the connection between the personal lives of clergymen and the operational situation established in the country. Nikol Pashinyan wrote this on his Facebook page.

“Let us set aside the fact that celibate clergymen cannot have a personal life. However, allow me to present one aspect of the connection between personal life and the operational situation: In recent years, more than two dozen cases have been uncovered where foreign intelligence services have recruited Armenian citizens by exploiting vulnerabilities in their personal and intimate lives. There are criminal cases regarding many such incidents; some are under investigation in courts, while others have resulted in conviction sentences. Thus, there is indeed a connection between 'personal life' and the operational situation,” he wrote.
