You Will Pay Back Penny by Penny: Alen Simonyan

The feudal mentality is not passing among the Armenian people either, said National Assembly President Alen Simonyan during his speech in the parliament, addressing the discussions surrounding the nationalization of the electricity distribution company.

“That logic, that we should gift state property worth billions of dollars… well, it'll provide some money to a couple of people, make a few donations. People understand that billions are at stake. And what will happen? A couple of pennies will be donated,” said Simonyan.

The Assembly President also responded to opposition MP Artsvik Minasyan. “Mr. Minasyan, you are asking who will pay that money. You will pay it back, Seyran Ohanyan will pay it back, Robert Kocharyan will pay it back. You will pay back penny by penny and return it to the people of Armenia,” stated Simonyan.
