Deputy Commander of the Russian Navy Killed

General-Major Mikhail Gudkov, the deputy commander of the Russian Navy, has been killed in the Kursk region. This information was shared by Oleg Kozhemyako, the governor of the Primorye region, on his Telegram channel. Reuters reports on this incident.
The Russian military officer was deployed to the Kursk region to coordinate the operations of the naval infantry units stationed there. According to Reuters, General Gudkov was killed during a Ukrainian attack on the command post near the village of Korenyevo, located close to the Ukrainian border.
“In addition to the deputy commander of the naval forces, 10 other Russian soldiers were also killed during that attack,” the agency reports.
