Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Comments on Allegations of Violence Against Russians

The statements from the Russian embassy regarding the use of physical force by Azerbaijani law enforcement against arrested Russians in Baku have no basis. This was announced by the press service of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The statement notes that information regarding the identity of the detainees and the authorized body conducting the investigation against the Russians has been provided to the Russian side.

The Azerbaijani FM added that the Azerbaijani side has never publicly politicized the delays in responses from the Russian side regarding the organization of consular meetings with Azerbaijani citizens arrested and convicted in various cities of Russia.
