US Deems Iran's Decision Unacceptable: State Department
The United States considers Iran's suspension of cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as unacceptable. This was stated by State Department spokesperson Tami Bruce.
"We are using the term 'unacceptable' because Iran has decided to halt its cooperation with the IAEA," Bruce said.
She added that Washington is urgently demanding Tehran to restore cooperation.
It is noteworthy that Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi had previously stated that the desire expressed by IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi to inspect sites related to Iran's nuclear program is pointless and may have malicious intentions. He mentioned that Iran's parliament has decided to suspend cooperation between the Islamic Republic and the IAEA.
