No One Stormed the Cathedral: Alen Simonyan
Edita
No one stormed the Cathedral, and Mikhail the Bishop fled, hiding there thinking he could feel safe. This was obvious. This was stated by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, during a conversation with journalists regarding the events that took place at the Mother See on June 27.
“They were near the entrance. The person you mentioned fled and was hiding there thinking that he could feel safe, and that was obvious,” said Simonyan.
According to him, the purpose of Adzhbakhian's actions was to create a show and provoke people. “There is a court decision, and to go, enter, try to hide, and for that court decision not to be executed is unacceptable,” he added.
