Iran Sends Protest Note

The head of the Eurasia Department of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Shahram Farsaee, summoned the temporary chargé d'affaires of Ukraine to present a protest note regarding Ukraine's statements supporting Israeli strikes against the territory of the Islamic Republic.

This was reported by the ISNA agency. According to him, while handing over the protest note to the Ukrainian side, Farsaee emphasized: “The Ukrainian authorities, by supporting the military aggression of the Zionist regime, have effectively disregarded Ukraine's international legal obligations to respect the principles and objectives of the UN Charter, as well as the four Geneva Conventions,” added the representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
