Iranian Commander on Israel's Ceasefire Violation

The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces has stated that although Iran has not been the initiator of the conflict, it has responded with full force to the aggressor. He also emphasized that in the case of a double aggression, Iran is ready to deliver a decisive retaliatory strike against the enemy, as it doubts its commitments, including the observance of ceasefire.

Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi held a telephone conversation with Saudi Arabia's Minister of Defense Khalid bin Salman. The parties discussed the 12-day conflict with the Israeli regime and the United States, as well as regional and bilateral issues.

During the conversation, Mousavi noted that the attacks by the Zionist regime and the United States on Iranian territory occurred despite the Islamic Republic's restraint and while indirect negotiations were ongoing with the U.S. “These two regimes have shown that they do not adhere to any international rules or norms, and this was proven to the world during the 12-day imposed war,” he stated.

The Chief of Staff of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Armed Forces emphasized: “We have not been the initiators of the war, but we have responded with full force to the aggressor. We have not been the initiators of the war.” During the telephone conversation, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Defense Khalid bin Salman declared that the Saudi government has not limited itself to condemning aggression and has made significant efforts to halt the war and aggression.
