Approximately 70 Trucks Loaded with Cognac Have Entered Upper Lars in the Last Three Days
The Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, has announced on Facebook that during the last three days, 69 trucks loaded with cognac have left the Georgian customs checkpoint of Gez and headed for Upper Lars.
“Work continues with the Georgian side to accelerate the pace,” Papoyan wrote.
It is noteworthy that Gevorg Papoyan previously indicated on his Facebook page that on June 27 alone, 94 trucks loaded with apricots had entered Russia from Armenia. “In June, a total of 720 trucks entered Russia. The export of apricots continues. Just yesterday, another 66 trucks left Armenia loaded with apricots,” the minister noted.
Furthermore, Papoyan mentioned four days ago in another post that from June 1 to June 23, 502 trucks loaded with apricots had already crossed the Armenia-Georgia-Russia customs border. To resolve this and several other issues related to exports, Gevorg Papoyan traveled to Georgia on June 23 with the Head of the State Revenue Committee, Edward Hakobyan.
