The Authorities Have Provoked Highly Dangerous Processes: Arman Tatoyan

Former Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan has made a statement: "The invasion of masked servicemen into the grounds of the Mother Cathedral, the pulling of clergymen is a desecration of the Armenian Church, our sacred values, and our centuries-old holy sites.

The authorities have provoked highly dangerous processes that undermine the foundations of our statehood and the pillars of our identity. Driven by the obsession to maintain his power, Nikol Pashinyan personally uses the law enforcement system to serve his interests, dismantling the law and democracy, turning the country into a dictatorship. He keeps the country on edge, turning people against each other, and speaks in a vulgar manner about the Armenian Church and our other sacred values.

What is happening is a gift to the aggressive plans of the Azerbaijani authorities," wrote Tatoyan.
