CIA Director on Serious Damage to Iran's Nuclear Facilities

The Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, John Ratcliffe, has stated that Iran's nuclear program facilities have sustained serious damage due to U.S. strikes.

According to a statement published on the agency's website, "The CIA can confirm that a reliable combination of intelligence data indicates that the recent targeted strikes have caused significant damage to Iran's nuclear program."

Ratcliffe added that new intelligence obtained from trustworthy sources indicates that several key Iranian nuclear facilities have been destroyed, and their recovery could take years. He noted that the CIA continues to gather additional information and will inform officials and the public accordingly.

Earlier, the White House denied preliminary intelligence assessments that suggested key components of Iran's nuclear program had not been destroyed and could be restored within a few months.
