Thugs: The Prime Minister's Son Has Made a Statement

Ashot Pashinyan, the son of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, made a statement regarding the arrests of opposition figures:

“It is impossible to react proportionately to what happened today. Armenia has never witnessed a crime of this magnitude, and it is likely that it never will again. The hybrid war is evidently not only present, but the thought processes of the initiating party are impossible to comprehend with a healthy imagination. It is unimaginable that a person—any person—could not only think about such things but also seriously plan and prepare for them.

Thugs, there will always be democracy in Armenia, and society, the state, everyone must respond appropriately to this. As for what kind of political debate will take place within the framework of that democracy, that’s not your concern. These people should not exist in the public life of Armenia; there should be no other proper response to this. Everything must be peaceful and lawful, but this chapter must be closed in Armenia, forever.”
