President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian to Skip EAEU Summit

The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, will not attend the events taking place in Minsk under the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). This was announced by Yuri Ushakov, assistant to the President of Russia.

“The Iranian president, for understandable reasons, will not personally participate and will not come to Minsk, but will send a video message,” Ushakov stated.

He noted that the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be held in Minsk on Friday.
