This was stated by National Assembly President Alen Simonian during a broadcast on Public Television, discussing the recently uncovered coup plan resulting from actions taken by the Investigative Committee and the statements of several political figures that preceded it.

“I am confident that this will not be the last incident; I am certain there will be more such attempts, and I am sure there are still people who will try to plunge the Republic of Armenia into chaos. But the people of the Republic of Armenia will not allow it,” he stated.
