Calm Down and Stay in Your Place: Araik Harutyunyan

The head of the administration of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Araik Harutyunyan, has addressed the issues concerning the Archbishop of Shirak, Mikayel Ajapahyan, on his Facebook page. He commented on what spiritual leaders can do in the current situation. "The representative of Ktrich Nersisyan was asked about the failed coup blessed by Ktrich Nersisyan, what they (the clergy) can do in this situation. He responded: 'Yes, this is an unprecedented phenomenon, but what can the church do?'"

Harutyunyan suggested, "A piece of advice can certainly be given: CALM DOWN AND STAY IN YOUR PLACE!!! Enough of keeping the people in a constant state of stress. All sources of stress will be extinguished."
