Trump on Regime Change in Iran

US President Donald Trump has stated that he does not wish for regime change to occur in Iran. “If that happens, then it happens. But no, I do not want that. I would like everything to calm down as soon as possible. Regime change creates chaos, and we do not want that much chaos,” Trump said.

He added that Iran can recover, as Iranians are very good traders and excellent businessmen. “They have a lot of oil. They will be able to recover and succeed. They will never have nuclear weapons, but besides that, they need to succeed,” he concluded.
