Iran Launches Ballistic Missile Attack; Alarms in Israel with Casualties Reported
Iran has launched ballistic missiles towards Israel, with at least one missile impacting the city of Be'er Sheva. According to Channel 12, the missile that struck Be'er Sheva hit a seven-story building.
Reports indicate that there are casualties and several injuries as a result of the missile attack. Israeli military sources have stated that several more missiles have been fired from Iran. Residents have been instructed to take shelter as alarm signals have been sounded in many cities.
The attack is believed to be a response to Israeli artillery fire on Tehran that occurred overnight. Concurrently, Israeli Air Force strikes targeted several areas of the city.
The ceasefire declared by U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to take effect in a few hours.
