U.S. Military Base on High Combat Readiness Due to Threats

The large U.S. military base located in the city of Qasrak in northeastern Syria has been put on high alert due to potential threats of attack from Iran and military groups it controls, reports Syria TV.

According to the television channel, an alert has been declared at the base, and U.S. military personnel have prepared air defense systems to repel a possible attack.

An unnamed source from the Syrian security services informed the channel that most of the remaining U.S. forces in the northeastern part of Hasakah province are concentrated in Qasrak.

Earlier, the Iranian agency Mehr reported that this U.S. military facility was shelled with mortars in the early part of the day. Several U.S. helicopters took to the air, and U.S. forces cleared the areas surrounding the base.
