These Countries Urge Yerevan to Fulfill Baku's Demands

The foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) have adopted a concluding statement following a meeting held in Istanbul over the past two days, which also addresses Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Welcoming the completion of negotiations regarding the bilateral agreement on "Establishing Peace and Inter-state Relations," the Islamic countries are calling on Armenia to "overcome the remaining legal and political obstacles to its signing and to cease undermining Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity." The organization, comprising 57 member states, reiterated its full solidarity with the government and people of Azerbaijan in their efforts to recover and reconstruct the territories affected by "Armenian aggression."
