Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Issues Statement

Azerbaijan strongly condemns the terrorist attack at a church in Damascus, Syria. This announcement was published by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and shared on the 'X' social media platform.

“We strongly condemn the horrific terrorist attack on the Mar St. Elias Church in the capital of Syria, Damascus. We express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and to all those affected by this unjust act of violence. We express our solidarity with the Syrian government and people and call for unity in the fight against extremism,” the statement reads.

It is noteworthy that a terrorist attack took place at a church in the Syrian capital Damascus, resulting in the deaths of more than 20 people and injuries to dozens.
