Azerbaijan Strongly Condemns Armenia's Behavior
Baku has strongly condemned the statement of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the "Istanbul Declaration" and the resolutions adopted at the 51st session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). This was stated in a declaration by the spokesperson of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Aykhan Hacizada.
"The attempt of Armenia to distort the content of these documents and falsify historical facts is yet another example of its efforts to disrupt the peace process and mislead the international community," noted Hacizada.
"The OIC's support for the right of Azerbaijanis to return is not a 'territorial demand', as Armenia falsely presents, but a call for justice and the reaffirmation of their rights," the statement emphasized.
