Rubio Expresses Discontent Over Araqchi's Upcoming Visit to Russia

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi should negotiate with the United States instead of visiting Russia. This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

“Araqchi is going to Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, rather than meeting with Trump’s special representative, Steve Biegun,” he said.

Rubio considered the fact that negotiations are planned between Moscow and Tehran to be acceptable. He also deemed it permissible for Iran to maintain its nuclear program, provided that the country refrains from enriching uranium or accumulating capabilities necessary for the creation of nuclear weapons.
