Iran Will Not Pursue This in the Future Either, Says Deputy Foreign Minister
Iranian officials have had no contact with the White House and have not sent any messages. This was stated by Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Khateebzadeh. According to him, the White House began conveying messages through regional leaders and European mediators from the very first moments of Israeli strikes against Iran.
“We are not conducting counterattacks. We have been attacked, and we are exercising legitimate defense by responding to aggression,” he said.
According to the deputy minister, if aggression against Iran stops, it will be possible to return to diplomacy. “We have only struck military targets; Iran has never sought to acquire nuclear weapons and will not pursue this in the future either,” he assured.
