Arman Yeghoyan on Pashinyan's Visit to Turkey

According to my information, there is currently no tripartite meeting planned, but I cannot exclude it, as decisions are often made on the spot. This was stated today, June 19, during a briefing with reporters in the National Assembly by the MP from the ruling party, Arman Yeghoyan, in response to a question about whether a trilateral meeting between Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey is expected during Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's visit to Turkey.

“The visit is very important; it is the first bilateral visit since independence. Especially in this volatile region, I believe that we need to talk with Turkey and understand each other. Currently, the agenda is the normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations, which is the agenda that our negotiators have been working on for several years,” said the MP.

According to him, if Turkey intends to bring Azerbaijan to a constructive framework, the question remains whether they have the political will to do so.
