Kocharian May Punish for Crucifixion, Alexandanyan to Kyureghyan
Armenuhy Kyureghyan, a member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), during her speech in the National Assembly today, cited Father Mer while discussing the campaign launched against clergymen, after which the phrase 'Father Mer, who art in heaven, deliver us from this evil...' followed.
Vahagn Alexandanyan then commented from his seat, stating, 'Kocharian may punish Ms. Kyureghyan for the act of crucifixion.' National Assembly President Alen Simonyan interrupted his colleagues who were making comments, saying, 'At least a few from the coalition know Father Mer; not all of them finished it because they haven't learned the whole thing. I suggest you say the whole thing next time.'
'I will decide whether I will comment from my seat or not. Otherwise, go back to the logic of learning Father Mer. As soon as you learn Father Mer, you will come back,' added Simonyan.
