Gagik Beglaryan Alienated Private Properties, Azaryan Claims

Today, MP Julieta Azaryan noted during her speech from the National Assembly podium: “You talk about schools, Mrs. Galstyan, we would gladly have included not 300 schools in our government programs, but rather 30, but that has its consequences. Why did we write about 300 schools? This was the result of the years when the former mayor Gagik Beglaryan spared none of the 12 administrative districts and alienated private properties in those districts, including areas of kindergartens, for incomprehensible reasons. These became fragmented private appropriations, where someone’s home turned into a space for business enterprises.”

“The 300 schools are the consequence of one of your brilliantly conducted foreign political strategies by former foreign ministers. For instance, in Dilijan, the government kindergarten was leased for 25 years, which was supposed to serve as charity, and 120 children were deprived of their right to attend kindergarten each year,” Azaryan added.
