Opposition Should Go Study Political Science: Alen Simonyan

Edita

"They are far from politics, they are just learning what politics is, because during their time there was no politics, there was only the imperative of one person and the rules of the game," he said during a conversation with reporters. The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, insists that the opposition in Armenia is very weak.

Simonyan noted that he will not provide lessons in political science, saying, "The opposition should go, study, form their arguments, and debate with the Civil Contract Party." He added that he is very happy that the second president of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, has filed a lawsuit against him.

"If I had known he would file a lawsuit, I was ready to pay the state fee. Now he has approached, he wants 9 million drams from me, I am sure that 9 million is nothing against 200 million, but I do not think he will win this case," the National Assembly President stated. Alen Simonyan remarked that Robert Kocharyan must prove that he is not a murderer and a thief.
